Sorry to hear of that DON GRADY has passed away. Grady played "Robbie" on the classic TV series, MY THREE SONS...and was also a former Mickey Mouse Club Mousketeer.  Grady is shown above wearing the blue jacket.

Here's an example of one of the many commissioned pieces of art that I've created for fans of classic TV cartoons!  This was one of my favorite pieces to do...a lot of my favorite Hanna-Barbera characters!  8^)

AMAZING...

...that the main character, CHARLIE CHAN, isn't even shown on the front cover of the newly-released DVD set of THE AMAZING CHAN AND THE CHAN CLAN (above).  I wonder if the Executives, Art Director and Designer at Warner Bros. Home Video, who are responsible for the DVD set's cover insert, have ever seen this show.  Do they even know who CHARLIE CHAN is?  I don't think so.  I think it would make more sense to use an image very similar to the show's 1970s Whitman coloring book cover (below).  8^)

THE ANT AND THE AARDVARK!

Always enjoyed DePatie-Freleng's THE ANT AND THE AARDVARK!  There were 17 theatrical shorts produced between 1969 and 1971 (released through United Artists), and featured JOHN BYNER doing a Dean Martin voice for The Ant, and a Jackie Mason impression for The Aardvark.  This is the original painted art for an Ant and the Aardvark puzzle. 8^)

HONG KONG PHOOEY HOT WHEELS!

Saw this tonight at my local Ralphs market...a Hot Wheels HONG KONG PHOOEY '34 Ford Sedan Delivery truck. I inked the HONG KONG PHOOEY character that was used on the blister card!  Cool!  8^)

So great to see the Chicago White Sox wearing their early 1970s-style red & white uniforms for Sunday home games!  My favorite White Sox uniforms!  I have great memories of going to the old Comiskey Park in Chicago to see the great White Sox players like Bill Melton, Wilbur Wood, Dick Allen, Carlos May, Pat Kelly, Jorge Orta, Bucky Dent and more!  8^)

I absolutely love this MEL CRAWFORD painting from the 1960s Big Golden Book PEBBLES FLINTSTONE!  Crawford is one of my favorite Golden Books artists...love his work on many of the Hanna-Barbera titles!
