Tonight, Leslie and I finally watched the 1996 film, THE PHANTOM, starring Billy Zane. I've always liked the character and the film was very enjoyable! Lots of fun action throughout the movie and Billy Zane looked great as THE PHANTOM! If you haven't yet seen it, check it out!
So great to see the RON SANTO statue unveiled tonight at Wrigley Field! A terrific tribute to the late, great Cubs third baseman! The statue is located at the corner of Addison St. and Sheffield Ave. HEY HEY #10!

The other day, I posted the cover for a new FLINTSTONES coloring book that featured my inked art of PEBBLES and DINO. Here's that coloring book's title page featuring two of my many brush inkings of PEBBLES and BAMM-BAMM. The poses were from 1960s character model sheets created for THE FLINTSTONES TV show. Sorry for the WILMA image showing through from the page's other side.
Just picked this one up very cheap on Amazon...Hammer's THE MUMMY from 1959. LOVE the Hammer horror movies! THE MUMMY stars Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee.
Love this new vintage-style GREEN LANTERN model kit from Moebius! Artist Terry Beatty did the cool box art!
Would love to see Moebius re-issue the 1960s Aurora BATMAN model kit!
With the recent release of MIGHTOR / MOBY DICK on DVD, I hope we see SHAZZAN get an official release from WB!

"Mr. Bob" Trendlar, the bandleader of the Big Top band on WGN-TV's Bozo's Circus during the 1960s and 1970s in Chicago, passed away today at the age of 99. Bob Trendler is shown above, wearing the white band uniform, in a 1968 Bozo's Circus publicity photo. He was part of a truly great era of Chicago TV!
