Love this 1960 original art for a CAPTAIN KANGAROO puzzle! This piece is directly from the Western Printing archive. I read the other day that "Grandfather Clock" from the Captain Kangaroo TV show is in the Smithsonian Institution.

ANOTHER CHIPMUNK MOVIE?

Just saw that there's another ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS movie being released this Christmas. It's called, "Chipwrecked". I saw the trailer, and the Chipmunks sing Lady Gaga in this installment. Can it get any worse? I don't even want to post the trailer here...you can find it on YouTube, if you really want to see it. I think it would be great to do a vintage-styled 2-D animated movie that looks like the images above...what ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS were intended to be.

THE GREEN HORNET!

I'm enjoying THE GREEN HORNET TV series here in the office/studio! I bought a 6-disc DVD set on eBay, and I'm VERY happy with the video and audio quality...both are EXCELLENT! The seller states that the episodes were transferred from the original 35mm prints, and they look like it! Complete and unedited episodes with no TV logo bugs!

AL HALL, the longtime Producer/Director of WGN-TV's BOZO'S CIRCUS in Chicago, has passed away at the age of 82. Al was a huge part of classic Chicago kids TV!
