Thanks, Tony! I used brush, pen and ink on duralene on the FLINTSTONES inkings. The WOLF MAN painting by GOGOS wasn't used on the AURORA model kit box. I scanned the image from the FAMOUS MONSTER MOVIE ART OF BASIL GOGOS book (which I highly recommend!). I'm not sure what the painting was used for.
The second Flinstones drawing (done by Mike Fontanelli, à la Dick Bickenbach [showing Fred leaving from the work]) was included years ago, on the Latin Cartoon Network site.
This second Flintstones drawing made by Mike Fontanelli, was based on the Flintstones second overture (introduced in 1962), which brings the definitive theme song from the series, Meet the Flintstones.
The first Flintstones drawing (drawn by Mike Fontanelli [who's also friend of John Kricfalusi]), which shows Fred begging (or else, moaning) to Mr. Slate a raise, has an Iwao Takamoto-esque style.

Hi Patrick. Love those images. Did you ever work on turnaround images of the 4 main characters? I'd love to see them. Post more!
