ALL IN COLOR FOR A DIME!

I used to love checking this book out from the Michigan City, IN Public Library when I was a kid. The book featured full-page color reproductions of Golden Age comic book covers that I would look at for hours!...well, maybe not hours, but for several minutes! 8^)

ROBIN AND THE ROBINSONS!

Here's a very cool pic that BILL MUMY posted on Facebook today! I had to share it with you here. Bill commented on the pic, "Here's a super rare photo from 1965 outside of Stages 10-11 on the 20th Century Fox lot. L-R: me, Burt Ward and Angela Cartwright. Or should I say, "Will Robinson", "Robin" and "Penny Robinson". Yeah!" Looks like this pic was taken while Burt Ward was filming the pilot to BATMAN...his gloves are a cloth material, and not the leather gloves he wore in all other episodes.

BRING BACK THIS BURGER KING!

I read today in the news that BURGER KING is getting rid of their current mascot. You know...the one with the creepy head mask. I would love to see BURGER KING bring back their cartoon mascot from the 1970s! I had the BURGER KING pillow that is shown below. Bring back this BURGER KING mascot and re-issue the pillow! Sounds like a great idea to me.

MALACHI THRONE...FALSE FACE!

Looking forward to the Hollywood Collectors Show on October 8-9, 2011 at the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel and Convention Center in Burbank, CA! It's a 45th anniversary reunion show for the BATMAN TV show. I'll definitely be picking up a signed photo from FALSE FACE himself, MALACHI THRONE! The show is also featuring ADAM WEST, BURT WARD, JULIE NEWMAR, YVONNE CRAIG, LEE MERIWETHER, FRANCINE YORK with Special Guest VAN WILLIAMS (The Green Hornet) and more!

BOZO BOP BAG!

Picked up the re-issued 1960s BOZO bop bag yesterday at Big Kid Collectables in Sherman Oaks, CA! They have a few left, so if you want one...get over to Big Kid at the corner of Burbank Blvd. and Hazeltine fast! Below is a neat vintage Christmas pic that shows the BOZO bop bag next to the tree.

THE PHANTOM!

Tonight, Leslie and I finally watched the 1996 film, THE PHANTOM, starring Billy Zane. I've always liked the character and the film was very enjoyable! Lots of fun action throughout the movie and Billy Zane looked great as THE PHANTOM! If you haven't yet seen it, check it out!

RON SANTO!

So great to see the RON SANTO statue unveiled tonight at Wrigley Field! A terrific tribute to the late, great Cubs third baseman! The statue is located at the corner of Addison St. and Sheffield Ave. HEY HEY #10!
