DAFFY & PORKY - NEW COLOR ART

I've posted the black and white version of this image before, but not this color version. I inked this piece for LOONEY TUNES Licensing at Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Mike Fontanelli pencilled this terrific DAFFY DUCK & PORKY PIG art. My colorist, Dom Giansante, added the cool cartoon colors to DAFFY & PORKY from my color design.

THE HILLBILLY BEARS - NEW COLOR ART

Here's a new color version of THE HILLBILLY BEARS art that I posted last month. Originally, I did this as a black and white piece and I thought it would be cool to see it with color. Following my color design, Dom Giansante did a great job adding the color to the piece! This was also a commissioned piece for a HILLBILLY BEARS fan. KLONDIKE KAT - NEW COLOR ART

"I'll make mincemeat outta that mouse!" This is a piece I did for the UNDERDOG - THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION DVD packaging. KLONDIKE KAT was one of my favorite segments of THE UNDERDOG SHOW. In addition to penciling and inking KLONDIKE KAT, I also did the color design, and Dom Giansante did the coloring.

IWAO TAKAMOTO EXHIBIT & BOOK SIGNING - MARCH 14 at VAN EATON GALLERY in SHERMAN OAKS, CA!

If you are going to be in the L.A. area this Saturday night, March 14, head over to the VAN EATON GALLERY in Sherman Oaks, CA! The gallery is having an IWAO TAKAMOTO exhibit and book signing. Michael Mallory, Willie Ito and Barbara Takamoto will be signing copies of the new book, IWAO TAKAMOTO: MY LIFE WITH A THOUSAND CHARACTERS. The event is from 6 pm to 9 pm. RSVP to the gallery at 818-788-2357. Many pieces of Iwao's art will be on display! Iwao Takamoto was a legendary production and character designer at Hanna-Barbera. Iwao is best known for designing SCOOBY-DOO. This should be a terrific night at the gallery! The gallery is located at 13613 Ventura Blvd. Check out www.vegalleries.com! Leslie and I will be there.

Here's CLYDE...member of the Ant Hill Mob in Hanna-Barbera's WACKY RACES. This 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" inking is part of a new WACKY RACES related project. CLYDE is brush, pen & ink on duralene with white opaque watercolor.

RING-A-DING - WACKY RACES

Here's RING-A-DING from Hanna-Barbera's WACKY RACES. As you WR fans know, RING-A-DING is a member of the Ant Hill Mob. This is part of one of my current projects. RING-A-DING is brush, pen & ink with white opaque watercolor on duralene and measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/4".

Leslie and I spent the day at DISNEYLAND today celebrating the birthdays of Ronnie (Leslie's sister) and Jonah (our nephew)! Happy Birthday, Ronnie and Jonah!
