| Just received these very cool Mani-Yack items from my pal, Jeff Carlson! Love the iron-on transfers of Herman Munster, Grandpa Munster and Barnabas Collins! The Frankenstein/Mummy wallet and the Mani-Yack monster stickers are monstrously terrific! If you love classic horror and movie monsters, be sure to join the Facebook group, "MANI-YACK Monster Transfers"! I highly recommend everything MANI-YACK! Thanks, Jeff! #maniyack #monsters #ironon #munsters #barnabascollins #darkshadows #hermanmunster #grandpamunster #dracula #mummy #frankenstein #wolfman |
...to the legendary cartoon illustrator, JACK DAVIS! Happy 87th!
...and to actor JONATHAN FRID (BARNABAS COLLINS from TV's DARK SHADOWS)! "Barnabas" is also 87 today.
I heard TIM BURTON is directing a new DARK SHADOWS movie. I haven't really cared for his last couple of movies, but love the old DARK SHADOWS TV series...especially during the years 1966-1968. Here's FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND #52 from 1968...featuring JONATHAN FRID as BARNABAS COLLINS.
A friend of mine is currently working on a project involving the classic FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND magazine. I can't give away any info yet, but I definitely will when I can! In the meantime...enjoy these FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND covers from my collection.
