THE FUNNY COMPANY
Growing up in the Chicago area during the 1960s and 1970s, I used to watch THE FUNNY COMPANY on WGN-TV Channel 9's children's show, GARFIELD GOOSE AND FRIENDS. Hosted by FRAZIER THOMAS and featuring the puppets GARFIELD GOOSE, ROMBERG RABBIT, MACINTOSH MOUSE and BEAUREGARD BURNSIDE III, GARFIELD GOOSE AND FRIENDS also showed CLUTCH CARGO and JOURNEY TO THE BEGINNING OF TIME. Here's the original painted art for one of the 1960s FUNNY COMPANY puzzles produced by Western Printing. Below, I've re-posted a "portrait" of GARFIELD GOOSE that I did.
