I was going through my files tonight, and found this original art piece that I inked of PEBBLES, BAMM-BAMM and DINO. As you can see below...the detail area of PEBBLES and DINO was used as the cover image for a recent FLINTSTONES coloring and activity book.
...that features my inked PEBBLES and DINO character art on the cover! Mark Christiansen did the penciling. Found this at the 99 Cents Store in Tarzana, CA. Be sure to pick one up if you see it!
My FLINTSTONES sketch cards (based on the designs by Ed Benedict and Craig Kellman). Each card measures 2.5" x 3.5" (size of a baseball card)...markers, brush & ink on textured 80 lb. card stock. E-mail me at powsley@flash.net.
Early FLINTSTONES publicity art. From the looks of FRED and BARNEY's hair, this was probably done for the second season.
Blog reader and Hanna-Barbera fan, Dom Giansante, has taken a few more of my black and white pieces and has given them COLOR! Nice work, again, Dom! Check out my December 26, 2008 post for my WINSOME WITCH inking that Dom colored!
"NO, DINO! NO...NO--!"
Here's two more licensing character art pieces for THE FLINTSTONES. I inked both with brush, pen & ink on duralene with white opaque watercolor. Mike Fontanelli did another great job on the pencil art. Click on both images for larger views!
