POPEYE - 1967 BIG LITTLE BOOK ORIGINAL COVER ART

Here's the original painted cover art for Whitman's 1967 POPEYE Big Little Book. Below is the book's printed cover, and the original art with the book's cover lettering on an overlay.

WOODY WOODPECKER PUZZLE PAINTING

Here's another cool WOODY WOODPECKER original cartoon painting that was used for a puzzle. I believe this is from the early 1970s. That's KNOTHEAD & SPLINTER stealing WOODY's pancakes.

MORE CARTOON PAINTINGS!

Both of these are from Western Printing and were created for puzzles. Looks like they are both from the early 1970s. Great cartoon paintings of WOODY WOODPECKER (with KNOTHEAD and SPLINTER) and the ROAD RUNNER!
